SUMMERLAND RED MAC

Summerland Red McIntosh is a familiar apple with a local twist. Developed in British Columbia, it builds on the classic McIntosh but brings a deeper, more consistent red colour and a bit more polish in the orchard. It has that same recognizable look and feel, just cleaned up and presented at its best. If you know McIntosh, this will feel immediately familiar.

Bite into it fresh and you get that signature Mac character. Juicy, lightly crisp at first, with a soft sweet-tart balance and a gentle aromatic lift. It doesn’t try to be bold or complex. It’s approachable, refreshing, and easy to enjoy. Like most McIntosh-type apples, it softens as it sits, so it’s best eaten early when the texture still has some snap. This is a simple, honest apple that leans on what works, and does it well.
